A bathtub transfer bench is designed to prevent accidental falls when getting in or out of the bathtub. The transfer bench is wider than the width of the tub to permit the user to enter the bathtub in a seated position. The legs of the bench are adjustable. An opening in the seat facilitates perineal care, and a handle provides support.
